To celebrate and complement Themester 2015, @Work: the Nature of Labor on a Changing Planet, the Labor Studies Department is offering a promotion of our Minor in Labor Studies for Liberal Arts. The essence of the promotion is that students may substitute one Themester 2015 course (http://themester.indiana.edu/curriculum.shtml), for one of the Labor Studies courses required by the Minor in Labor Studies for Liberal Arts. Only four additional LSTU courses are required instead of five, to complete this minor.
Labor Studies (http://labor.iu.edu/About/index.php) offers online courses on labor- and employment-related issues and themes, including labor and the economy; labor history; labor law; employment law; class, race, gender and work; theories of the labor movement; and labor and global warming.
